			همانطور که پیش از این اشاره گردید، شفافیت زیست‌محیطی را می‌توان در دسترس قرار دادن تمامی اثرات زیست‌محیطی یک کالا و همینطور نحوه تولید آن تعریف نمود. شفافیت می‌تواند بر زنجیره تأمین غیر سبز اثری منفی داشته باشد. چرا که زمانی که کالا غیرسبز است، ارائه اطلاعات زیست‌محیطی می‌تواند خریدار را از خرید کالا منصرف کند. به خصوص اگر مشتری به محیط زیست و سبز بودن یا نبودن کالا حساس باشد. مشابه مطالعاتی از آراس و کروذر  و آرتیز و کروذر  در این فصل فرض می‌گردد که شفافیت بر یک زنجیره تأمین غیر سبز اثری منفی دارد. در این بخش یک زنجیره تأمین غیر سبز، شامل یک تولیدکننده و یک خرده فروش درنظر گرفته می‌شود. از آنجایی که یکی از مواردی که می‌توان اثرات خارجی محصول تولید شده بر  طبیعت را به ارائه نمود، تبلیغات است  در این بخش فرض می‌گردد که شفافیت از کانال تبلیغات افزایش می‌یابد و اثر آن بر میزان تأثیر تبلیغات منفی است. بنابراین ضریب تأثیر تیلیغات بر تقاضا بر اثر افزایش شفافیت کاهش می‌یابد.
			
			از سویی دیگر فرض می‌گردد که تولید کننده می‌تواند از بین دو استراتژی یکی را انتخاب کند. استراتژی اول آنکه او فقط سود خود را درنظر بگیرد. دوم اینکه او علاوه بر سود خود، \lr{CSR} را نیز درنظر بگیرد. از آنجایی که رضایت مشتری می‌تواند به عنوان معیاری از \lr{CSR} درنظر گرفته شود. در این رساله یک شاخص افزایش رضایت مشتری به عنوان بعد اجتماعی \lr{SD} توسعه داده شده است که در ادامه فصل تعریف شده و مدل‌سازی خواهد شد. رضایت مشتری معیاری از \lr{CSR} است که با افزایش شفافیت افزایش می‌یابد  بنابراین دراین فصل می‌توان گفت اگر تولیدکننده استراتژی درنظر گرفتن \lr{CSR} را انتخاب کند، یک بده بستان بین افزایش رضایت مشتری (که منجر به افزایش مطلوبیت او نیز خواهد شد) و کاهش تقاضای مشتری وجود خواهد داشت. بنابراین مسئله مورد بررسی در این بخش به شرح زیر می‌باشد.

			یک زنجیره تأمین شامل یک تولیدکننده و یک خرده فروش را درنظر بگیرید که یک محصول غیر سبز را تولید و به مشتری نهایی می‌رسانند. تولیدکننده می‌تواند یکی از دو استراتژی زیر را انتخاب نماید:

				استراتژی سود محور ($PS$): در این استراتژی، تولیدکننده فقط سود خود را درنظر می‌گیرد و رضایت مشتری و CSR تنها زمانی برای او اهمیت دارد که سودش را افزایش دهد.

				استراتژی پایدار ($SS$): در این استراتژی، تولیدکننده علاوه بر سود خود CSR و یا به طور خاص رضایت مشتری (که یک معیار CSR می‌باشد) را درنظر می‌گیرد و درواقع مطلوبیت او شامل دو جزء متفاوت یعنی سود خود، رضایت مشتری است.

			همچنین تولیدکننده برای افزایش سود خود از تبلیغات استفاده می‌کند و تبلیغات علاوه بر معرفی محصول، کانالی برای افزایش شفافیت زیست‌محیطی نیز می‌باشد. بنابراین تولیدکننده در مورد قیمت عمده فروشی ($w$) و حجم تبلیغات ($A$) تصمیم می‌گیرد. ضمن آنکه خرده‌فروش نیز درخصوص قیمت خرده‌فروشی ($p$) تصمیم می‌گیرد. نمای شماتیک مسئله مورد بررسی درشکل \cref{f5-01} قابل نمایش است.
			
			
			از سویی دیگر، از آنجایی که تصمیمات اعضای زنجیره تأمین، بر سود همدیگر اثر دارد، مدلسازی باید بر اساس نظریه بازی انجام گیرد. همچنین فرض می‌گردد که در ابتدا تولیدکننده و پس از آن خرده‌فروش تصمیمات خود را اخذ می‌کند. بنابراین یک رقابت استکلبرگ بین تولیدکننده و خرده‌فروش برقرار است که تولیدکننده رهبر و خرده‌فروش پیرو می‌باشد.
